Objectives

Theoretical (30 hours)

  • Introduction sheet metal
  • Definitions and applications
  • Marking applications
  • Aluminum and aluminum alloys
  • Human factors and Foreign object damage (FOD)
  • Riveting and Quality solid rivets
  • Damages
  • Hand and measuring tools
  • Safety issues
  • Calculate the overhang

Practical (50 hours)

  • Marking of lightweight metals & Scratch prevention
  • Drilling and countersinking
  • Milling sheet metal alloys
  • Bending of sheet metal
  • Riveting with a hammer bench & Rivet
